Petition to keep Dr. Hyson at UNBSJ

Dr. Hyson has been a valued member of the staff at UNBSJ for many years. We the undersigned have been made aware of a plan to not invite Dr. Hyson back to teach next year. This is unacceptable to us; we ask that the administration reconsider this decision immediately. Our goal is to have one of two things: 1) Dr. Hyson is invited to continue teaching, or 2) The administration holds a meeting with us to discuss this change to the History and Politics Department.
The students of UNBSJ have supported the Faculty and Staff in the past and we hold that our history of cooperation, our payment of tuition, and our citizenship oblige the administration to recognize our voice.
