We the undersigned petition all news and media outlets to censor the faces of Iranian protesters and protect their identity from potential persecution and harassment at the hands of Iranian state authorities and others.
It is known that Iranian authorities routinely monitor foreign news channels such as CNN and BBC (just to name a few) and that any protesters who are clearly visible on such outlets could be victims of detention or harassment.
