PLEASE HELP! Stray dog in desperate need! Middlesbrough

This bullmastiff has been homeless for over 9 months, I first saw him last christmas living under the flyover near Longlands roundabout in Middlesbrough towards the town centre. Over christmas we contacted many different organisations for help with no success, no one seemed interested in helping this poor suffering dog. The road it lives next to is a very busy road, the dog is in great suffering and has been seen living on a wasteland behind the fence which is full of broken glass and much more. It is very dangerous for both the dog and the cars using the road. We have also tried ourselves to catch the dog but its too scared to approach and quite rightly so!
We orginally thought someone had found the dog as we never saw it until a week ago (September) sleeping rough. It has lost a lot of body weight since we last saw it at christmas and seems to be suffering. Again we have rang organisations including the RSPCA - Who stated that this dog is not an emergency unless it causes an accident/or is ran over. This is disgusting! We really need to create an awareness for this dog to be rescued and for everyone to keep an eye out and try to help this poor dog. I have been taking food and water for the past week and as far as I can see it is taking the food but this cant be a permanent solution and organisations with the proper materials need to step up and help!
So please sign this petition and see if we can drum up some publicity for this dog, its heart breaking to think that organisations such as the RSPCA are not interested in helping a stray dog of over 9 months!
