Please release the 3.1.3 on baseband 5.12.1 unlock now.

This petition is here to convince the DevTeam, Sherif Hashim or anybody that is currently working on an iPhone 3.1.3 with baseband 5.12.1 unlock and jailbreak, to release it now and not wait for any future releases/events/acts of God.

Guys, this has now gone past the limits of ridiculousness. After reading the forums for more than a week now, I am sure hundreds of thousands if not millions are affected by this. Guys, this is a LOT of unhappy people, which you can make happy). Many of us have bought the iPhone because we knew it could be jailbroken and unlocked. You guys are at the forefront of this field and thus this responsibility rests on you. We all love your work and admire you. HOWEVER, if you hadn't started jailbreaking/unlocking iPhones, somebody else would have. This is not a criticism, it is the reality which you will agree with if you are not biased. Everything eventually gets hacked. Look at Google. So, it is your "responsability" (sorry, but that is the way it is, as I said many of us bought the iPhone because of what you do) to listen to the users which you wanted to help when you got in this field. We are all asking you to release this unlock ASAP, and not let us wait for some "other" update which will be more important than this, because believe me, nothing is as important to us right now than actually USING our phones.

Waiting for OS 4.0 to get released before releasing the unlock is not a good idea (but then again, we actually are biased). 4.0 is a major release which will come with it's own exploits.

By holding this unlock back you are losing respect from a lot of us. If this is a question of money (which i HIGHLY doubt it is -forgive us if we insult you here-), then just tell us and we will be HAPPY to donate, because it is WORTH it and has been for long.

If you can do something today, then don't wait for tomorrow. You can never know what happens.
