This petition is in response to the proposed seawall for Pleasure Point, in Santa Cruz California. To protect this area from erosion, physical damage will be inflicted on the environment, and harm the world class surfing break located at Pleasure Point. We ask you to sign our petition, which will be sent to the Surfrider organization, to express your wishes to put the environment before the protection of propriety. With your help the city of Santa Cruz could be persuaded to adapt the environmentally supported plan, Alternative 3 in their purposed outline (available at http://www.sccoplanning.com/eirs/eirecliffseawall/Chap02.htm#ProposedProject), that would result in the least physical disturbance to the project area.
