Port Sonic The Hedgehog 4 to Android

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is the much anticipated sequel of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, being released to the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and the iPhone. Although the game is not as good as the original Genesis titles before it and could have had much more effort put into it(check Sonic Fan remix, which is an amateur project), it still is a right step forward.

Seeing as the game has even been released for iOS devices, it should be released for ANDROID devices as well. Android is more than capable of handling a game like this(see for example devices such as the Motorola Droid X) and the number of people owning Android devices continues to grow at a very accelerated pace and de-crowning the iPhone is inevitable.

Yes, the Android application market still needs improvement and there are problems with fragmentation, however, all of this could be solved if Sega markets Sonic The Hedgehog 4 - Episode I to high end devices only(the minimum requirement would be Android 2.1 devices with a decent processor, such as the Texas Instrument processor found on the original Motorola Droid. And a resoultion of at least 800x480). We understand that not all Android devices have 2.2 and cannot transfer applications to their MicroSD card. However, many developers have found a solution to that simply making the game about 1-10MB in the phone's internal memory, and the rest of the game file would be transfered to the SD card. In addition, phones with keyboards should have the ability to play the game with the keyboard instead of only touch-based controls.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4, although not perfect, is a decent game and it deserves to be ported to Android as well.
