Prices of Pilgrimage RSA

We are concerned citizens who fear that there is a cartel controlling and monopolising the Muslim pilgrimage travel industry in the Republic of South Africa.
South Africa is one of the most expensive countries in the world, when it comes to our Muslims wanting to go for HAJJ and testimony to this is borne out when we meet with our brothers and sisters form the various other countries and we inevitably discuss our differing costs to accomplish this once in a lifetime duty.
Islam is a religion based on 5 fundamentals beliefs (which we call the PILLARS of ISLAM) and HAJJ is the fifth of these; and only becomes obligatory once an adult has sufficient funds to undertake the journey. Many of our people yearn to undertake this pilgrimage because of it being the last obligation to complete our faith, as well as to go and visit the two most holiest cities of Islam i.e. Mecca and Medina, However, our South African travel agents have no mercy and charge exorbitant rates because they know that, out of our love for our faith, we would pay any price for this once in a life-time opportunity.
All we are asking you MR PRESIDENT is to look into this monopoly and bring the oppressors to book. Regulate pilgrimage prices for the benefit of our people (like you have done with the pharmaceutical industry). Could you please institute a commission of enquiry into this most urgent of matters, paying particular attention to comparative country costings, so we can expose these exploiters.
