We the following Nascar fans are very concerned about the possible point system changes that have been proposed recently. Eliminating the results from the first 26 races and starting over for a last season 10 race playoff eliminates the whole traditional approach to season long consistency. Will it be fair to a team that has excelled for the first 26 races, but didn't have such a great last 10 races, yet overall that team would have had the Championship? We don't think this approach is the way to go. Please leave all 36 races in the championship mix. Thank you for your consideration,

pleaee do not change the points system as i believe that it would be a mistake.The busch and truck series all had close races for the championship this year.I see no need to change anything on the points system as we now have it

This new points system that NASCAR has set up for the 2004 season is just wrong. If it isn't broke...DON'T FIX IT!!!!! It's FINE the way it is.
