Protect The Children

There comes a time when a watershed event occurs and brings about a necessary change. This past weekend, 8 year old Jessica Delatorre was raped and murdered by 41 year old Murray James Jones. This comes a week or two after We cried with the Lunsford family in Florida over the rape and murder of their 9 year old daughter, Jessica, by John Evander Couey.

These kinds of acts CANNOT be allowed to continue. Monsters like Couey and Murray Jones cannot be allowed to perpetrate these kinds of acts against the most innocent members of our population, children.

The time has come for us, not just parents, but all concerned Americans to let our representatives know that these acts must stop and stop NOW. We must call, write, email, do whatever it takes to get Congress to pass a bill toughening the standards against these horrible perpetrators. Sign this petition and send a message to our leaders and tell them to protect the most valuable resource in this country...our children, because they are the future of this country, and we don't want monsters like John Couey and Murray Jones taking time in the present to alter our future.
