Radiant Silvergun Worldwide Release

Dear TREASURE CO,

We, the undersigned, request that the video game "Radiant Silvergun" be converted (henceforth ported) to the Nintendo Gamecube and be given a worldwide release.

Radiant Silvergun is undoubtedly one of the top-ranked games of the Rail Shooter genre, among other favorites such as Einhander and Ikaruga. Unfortunately, the game was never released outside of Japan, and countless people have been forced to purchase units from various import stores for prices of at least $100 USD, a greatly inflated price which TREASURE CO does not benefit from.

As with the Ikaruga port from Sega Dreamcast to Nintendo Gamecube, the production costs would be greatly decreased. Few design changes would be needed, and the port would be completable much more quickly than a new game could be created and published.

The rerelease will also enable TREASURE CO to add to or otherwise improve portions of the game, including, but not limited to, the addition of a Level Select feature, Boss Fight feature, and even additional levels or boss fights. This will create an opportunity for additional hype through advertising (by means of announcing new features) and incentive for even those who already own an imported version of the game to purchase it again.
