We, the undersigned, feel that the negative environment Mrs. Nelson creates on her bus is unacceptable and that she should be removed from all Glenkirk Elementary School bus routes.
The school bus is an extension of the classroom; therefore the bus driver is expected to act professionally and not verbally abuse the passengers in an effort to control them. Mrs. Nelson sets the stage for how things will go on the school bus and throughout the students' day. Therefore she needs to be replaced with a driver who exhibits a love of children, a desire to see them safely to school using while using patience in all dealings with students and parents.
