Remove Garlic from Wellness Cat Foods

Old Mother Hubbard's Wellness line of cat foods, while better than most cat foods available, still contains GARLIC in all flavors - even the grain-free varieties.

While the amount may not be a problem for a healthy cat, most people find their way to the Wellness foods because they are looking for a grain-free option for a cat with health problems.

Please sign this petition to be sent to Old Mother Hubbard to make their food even better by removing the garlic as well as the grains.

100. Sandy A | The jury's still out on garlic; why take a chance on it. My cats hate garlic anyway, so not sure it works as even a flavor enhancer.

99. Deone G | Keep canned Wellness grainless with human grade ingredients but remove the garlic. Grains and garlic are harmful to cats. Cats do not need lots of fruits and vegetables either. Please keep your canned cat food simple yet keep the high quality human grade

98. Mary G | I currently feed Wellness to my cat but will stop if the garlic is not removed. Onions, garlic, leeks, and chives all have the potential to cause Heinz body anemia in companion cats and dogs, and I'm not willing to feed ANY food that carries that risk.

97. Joan D | There is no reason to have this ingredient which has been linked with anemia in cats.
