We, the fans of Cork City FC and other eircom League Of Ireland clubs, are extremely disgruntled by the decision to allow flags, scarves and other Celtic FC memorabilia to hang "proudly" on the wall of what is essentially a Cork City pub, The Horseshoe.
This will, if allowed to continue, be the source of much embarassment for CCFC fans when continental teams come to play our club in European Competition, not to mention when our friends from the North come to play us in the Setanta Cup, only to find a virtual 'shrine' to a Scottish football club, one which many would say has extreme sectarian undertones.
Reluctantly, we will be forced to take our business elsewhere if this remains the case. The Horseshoe has always been THE pub to drink in for Cork City fans and away fans alike, so this would obviously be a very sad development. Please re-consider your actions.
