Request ITSC/IDA to vote "No" at ISO, Reject ECMA376 (MS-OOXML)

We the undersigned urge the ITSC (IT Standards Committee), IDA and relevant members and experts who will make the decision to vote "No".
The reason for rejecting MS-OOXML becoming an ISO standard have been documented and discussed in-depth. Experts in the Standards process, paralegals and many IT experts have examined the MS-OOXML (aka ECMA376) specification and documented many serious technical flaws.
The following websites/webpages discuss the issue in more depth:

We also think ECMA376 (or MS-OOXML) is not required when ISO26300 (ODF) is an already approved ISO standard for the exact same purpose. Multiple standards will cause more problems than solve
ISO23600 or ODF is supported by IT Giants such as Sun Microsystems, IBM Corp, Google etc. and more than 350+ organizations. You can learn more about ODF at http://www.odfalliance.org/
Do you like Red-Orange-Green traffic signals on some streets and Blue-Yellow-Black signals on some? Imagine the problems such a scheme will cause. Approving Microsoft's duplicate, unwanted, flawed document standard will cause similar problems.
We, the individuals and representatives of Organizations in Singapore, exhort IDA and ITSC committee to reject MS-OOXML by voting "No" at the Sep2,2007 ISO voting.
