(i) Making people late for work and school.
(ii) Putting people out of their way.
(iii) Taking students out of the direct view from school, putting their personal safety more at risk.
(iv) Forcing students to walk along a muddy footpath in Chellaston when dropped off at the Bonny Prince A50.
(v) Causing pollution At the 68-69 transfer point in Melbourne.
(vi) Wasting fuel by taking the 68 and 68a through the new estate where most people have two cars therefore rarely take a bus.
Some of these points are extremely bad and can have huge consequences affiliated with them. In the case of (iii), the school was able to keep an eye on pupils returning home on the bus and were therefore In Loco Parentis. Changing the routes means that the pupils are off school grounds and out of the surrounding area. This therefore means that in the event of a mugging, accident, etc. the blame cannot be put onto the school and therefore the parents who are adamant to sue will turn on Arriva.
If one of the students gets mugged, don't expect immunity, parents will turn on you FIRST.
