Porter the Train
Porter the Train has been situated in Bellevue Park in beautiful Sault Ste Marie Ontario for as long as I can remember.
I recall as a young child, squeals of delight when playing on this structure, and have watched as my children enjoy the thrill as well.
The city has cordoned Porter off from the public and indicated that insurance price is the bully in the playground. Now here is the discussion:

I would like the City to consider removing the snow fencing, and placing a simple sign next to Porter. The sign should read, The City assumes no responsibility for injury sustained on this apparatus. In effect a Play at your own risk. There is no substitute for Parental supervision.
Please dont remove Porter from the Park. There arent many play structures left that can boast the number of generations of kids as Porter.
