We need to have open records and up-to-date medical history information of the birthfamilies made readily available to an adoptee, siblings, their children and other family members and doctors who inquires. You may prevent the death of many adoptees who are ill. The availability of medical information to an adoptee, birthfamily member, adoptees doctors AND their siblings doctors, can aid the other doctors involved in preventative medicine and the ability to provide better treatment to their patients who were adopted by simply having the medical background history of other family members. If we only knew of the truth behind the reasons behind medical problems, medical treatment could be faster, better, more effective and conditions screened for heriditary situations due to family history.
