PETITION for Diagnosis Murder:

We are requesting you to reconsider giving the wonderful family show: "Diagnosis Murder" a chance for More Movies OR a series spin-off.

Aware of the fact that it was CBS President Mr. Moonves who decided that "Diagnosis Murder" would not be returning in the 2001 fall season or in re-runs; thus arguing that CBS' new slate would give the network a younger and more affluent audience - we would like to point out that:

A) Being pinned to a to a lethal Time Slot with Nasty Competition "Diagnosis Murder" held its stronghold and maintained fair ratings over the last 8 years!

B) Being put to the New Time Slot, "Diagnosis Murder" achieved the best ratings for that specific 8 p.m. slot on Fridays over 2000-2001!

C) CBS and DM viewers are not skewing old! Please be as kind as to consider the Real "Diagnosis Murder" fan? The people who wrote to you and who gave up some of their privacy in order to convince you! (Some of us are listed below).

D) Upon its return to Television during February Sweeps 2002, "Diagnosis Murder" made the *Top 20* gluing 9.5 million households to the CBS screen... And those viewers want more!
