This petition's purpose is to get you to carefully reconsider the dramatic delay of Kelly Rowland's highly anticipated sophmore LP "My Story" from July 11th 2006 to Febuary 2nd 2007. Fans of Miss Rowland have been following this album for months now, and after several initial delays were were finally happy to see the figurative ball rolling with the leaking of what was said to be the first single "Gotsta Go" Ft. Da Brat, most felt this song would be the successful hit needed to catapault this album to success.
Why "My Story" has been pushed back has yet to be explained, or even 100\% confirmed at the time of this petitions conception, but the main theory is that Miss Rowland is getting backburner treatment to make room for Beyonce Knowles new project, and most feel this delay is absolutley unthinkable and that Kelly is not getting the treatment she deserves. Hopefully the outpouring from Kelly's loyal and supportive fanbase who have been waiting since 2002 for her follow-up will get you to at least reconsider this potentially disastous decision.
