Save the PC/PS2 Phantasy Star Universe Community

We, the PC/PS2 Phantasy Star Universe player community, are saddened and shocked by your decision to pull the plug on our servers. We feel that it is unfair that the Xbox 360 community will remain, and will still receive regular updates, while our side will be removed from existence.

We were all looking forward to the massive Supplemental Update (AOTI+) that many of us thought would bring a new lease of life to the game, and quite a few of us were even interested in the possibility of the GUARDIANS Cash system and how it might be implemented on our regional servers.

We plead that you reconsider your decision to shut down the PC/PS2 Phantasy Star Universe servers indefinitely, and would ask if you might consider possible alternatives. Our main wish would be a server merge with the Xbox 360 servers; if you feel that it isn't economically viable to keep separate servers for PC/PS2 in operation, we would love to have the opportunity of continuing to play our favourite game without all our character data being lost, and without being forced to purchase a new platform to play the game on. It would be a marvellous opportunity for our long divided communities to become one.

If you can tell us the server merge isn't possible, then we would at least ask you to please offer a free character data transfer service, so that those of us currently on the PC/PS2 servers wishing to continue playing the game using the Xbox 360 platform would have the option of doing so without being forced to lose all the hours they have spent building their characters and inventories.

We thank you for the many hours of fun, and the new friends that playing Phantasy Star Universe has brought to us all, and ask that you please take our proposals into consideration, most especially the server merge, as we, the PC/PS2 community, don't want the journey to end without being able to enjoy all the unreleased content that's just around the corner.
