As a resident of Philadelphia, or somebody who is concerned about the residents of Philadelphia, who is 18-years-old (or above), I hereby request the Philadelphia Police Mounted Patrol Unit to be of continued service to the citizens of Philadelphia.
This historic unit provides great value to the citizens of Philadelphia through deterrent patrol, superior crowd control and other services. In addition, the unit projects a professional, positive image of the Philadelphia Police Department and the City of Philadelphia.
The small budgetary savings gained by disbanding the Philadelphia Police Mounted Patrol Unit would be completely and immediately offset by "quality of life" losses to the citizens of Philadelphia.
I urge you to continue funding the Philadelphia Police Mounted Patrol Unit so it can continue its proud legacy of service to the City.

Mounted Unit in a big city is a necessity and asset. Just wait till your next riot or protest and your street cops will be going over the air with we need mounted in here. Oh yeah the government disbanded them, all while the city gets torn apart.
