REAL Friends of Eagles Hockey,

In recent months, A company by the name of "Stewart International Marketing" have been making noises about purchasing the Centrum Arena in Ayr. This company has David Huxley as a director and spokesperson, who has a history of owning money to individuals and companies. Tam Stewart, infamous ex-Dundee Rockets owner that led them to bankruptcy is also involved, though his name appears nowhere in relation to the company. The company also has mysterious, unexplained foreign directors, who may or may not be participating in the takeover of the Centrum Arena.

Their bid to purchase the Arena is relying heavily on bank loans, with no proof that the company behind the bid can service these debts effectively while returning top flight hockey to the Centrum Arena.

At this moment in time, no organisations other than SIM and "Friends of Eagles Hockey" have confirmed that they have the financial capability to ensure the success of the Centrum for years to come.

This petition is calling hockey fans everywhere to "Say No To SIM" - to block their takeover of the Arena. If their takeover is not blocked, our worst nightmare could happen - the Centrum could be asset stripped and left a bare shell, to be torn down and replaced with housing, leaving Ayr without a facility for top level hockey.

Please, say no to SIM.
