The Township of Cavan Monaghan has officially declared itself an “Unwilling Host” of industrial wind turbines in its community.
The current Ontario Green Energy Act has removed any authority from the Township to act in the best interests of the residents and community.
Industrial wind turbines have immediate and long lasting impacts on residents including documented health issues, property devaluation and environmental impacts.
Please sign this petition to have your voice heard and demonstrate clear opposition to the Ministry of the Environment approving any industrial wind turbine projects that are not fully endorsed by local townships and municipalities.
