Scadding Court Community Centre is in the process of organizing a farmers' market for Wednesday nights on its property on Dundas Street West, just east of Bathurst, as part of its Live Local Marketplace. There is currently no such market in the Kensington, Chinatown or Alexandra Park neighbourhoods. We want to know if there is community support for a farmers' market in the area which could improve access for locally-sourced produce and raise awareness about food security issues.
