The following was presented as it is to a large number of Seinfeld Fans that are anxious to have the Box Set subject of this petition and that would still remain loyal watchers of the episodes running on the TV:
SEINFELD on DVD/VHS BOX SET
This petition has the objective of gather signatures that support this noble cause. The higher the number of signatures, the stronger the petition will be and more compelling to show SONY that they would make a lot of money and still have regulars TV viewers of this phenomenal sitcom.
Other TV series have done it, in different ways. The Sopranos, X Files, and Sex and the City have released their episodes in series (1st year, 2nd year, etc.). Friends, on the other hand, released some episodes chosen by the producers. So, it is also interesting to find out what is the most desired format. That is the reason for the few questions in the end of the petition.
Just out of curiosity, according to TV Guide numbers, today the number of watchers of comedy sitcoms (new episodes) is less than 50\% of the number of watchers in the last year of Seinfeld. It means that if you add all the people watching comedy sitcoms today you have less than the audience of Seinfeld. It also means that the total comedy sitcom watchers dropped by more than 50\%!!! Amazing, isnt it? And it doesnt mean that the sitcoms are bad. Not at all!! They are very good shows, but not as good as SEINFELD!!!
So please, follow these Simple Steps:
1 Sign the petition (and allow it to show your name and email address to give more strength to our statement);
2 Answer the questions regarding the format of the DVD/VHS Set;
3 Last, but not least, spread the word!!! LETS MAKE IT HAPPENS!!!
