Silent Hill Origins PC petition

Dear Climax and Konami,

Ever since the first rumors on Silent Hill Origins came out on the net, each and every one Silent Hill fan was completely shocked by them! Don't get me wrong: not by the game itself, but because it was supposed to come out only on the PSP.
It was too bad that a so important SH chapter was supposed to be played only on a three inches wide screen. And don't get me wrong this time either, I don't hate SH Origins because it's coming to the PSP (instead I think that'd be great to play it on the bus or out of home...), the point is that it was too bad it was ment to come ONLY to PSP!

All the fans were starting to get used to the idea of playing the game only on the PSP (which, I repeat, is also a great choice)...

But then, in an interview with Akira Yamaoka a few days ago, he stated:
"Right now it's only on the PSP, but if the customers or the market request other platforms, then I'll think about it."

For many fans, the best SH: Origins news ever appeared on the net...

As for myself, I'm a loyal long-time PC gamer and I played all the Silent Hill games on my PC (except for Silent Hill 1, of course) and that was one hell of an experience!

And I'm not only talking for myself, I mean, so many guys that have played the whole franchise on the PC can't be left without a PC version of Silent Hill Origins. PC games have many unique aspects! for example PC allows you to play with whatever screen you like, allows you to play with your own keyboard or a joypad and of course, if you have some friends, you could invite them at home to play SH Origins altogether (not all at the same time, of course, this is not a multiplayer game)... but most important, we all have a PC! And PC portings, at least as far as I know, aren't so expensive either!

That's why I ask you people from Konami and Climax to port Silent Hill Origins to the PC, just like you did with all the others Silent Hill games.

We know PSP graphics wouldn't look so good on a 19" PC monitor but we wouldn't care about it!
On the other hand, we already saw 720p trailers for the game and the graphics was absolutely stunning! Especially the CG movie one...

On a side note, I would also ask for a Linux porting of the game. I know Linux is not so popular these days, but many companies have already made Linux-compatible games (for instance, Doom 3 by ID Software, Quake or Broken Sword) and of course the increase of Linux games wold definitely help the increase of linux users...

So, since Yamaoka-San was looking for costumers interested in the release of the game on other platforms, here we are, asking for a PC version of Silent Hill Origins.
