Sir Roger Douglas as the new finance minister of New Zealand

We, the undersigned, would request that Prime Minister-designate John Key of New Zealand, would accept the appointment of ACT's Roger Douglas to the portfolio of Finance.

We, value and appreciate Douglas' efforts in the eighties to save the New Zealand economy from ruin. We thank Sir Roger for his purge of toxic state assets, his lowering of the tax rate, his deregulation and these policies' effects. We feel that in the current economic climate, his experience in dealing with economic troubles would be a great boost for the country of New Zealand.
