- Impossible to re-transfert or even play mp3 back from the vaio into the pc trought SonicStage 2.3 (totally possible with atrac format). If it's a copyright question, I can just copy as .mp3 on the hd and copy back at home. I want to do it with .mao/mp3 files !
- Some mp3 are not recognize in sonicstage 2.3 for some weirds reasons (they can be played, but not transfered, length is 00:00).
- The most annoying thing : SonicStage 3.0. You must RE-FORMAT and LOSE all yours tracks to upgrade. Sony tell us to backup the files with their backup software. Actually, it's impossible : you can't transfert back mp3.
And what happens on the next updgrade ? Or if your reformat/change your pc ?
Re-encode/re-transfert all the files (up to 40 gb !) each time ??
SonicStage 2.3 has some annoying bugs. SonicStage 3.0 can't be use without losing everything.
By signing this petition, I want Sony to find a true alternative to these behaviour, or I will never buy again a Sony music pocket system.
ie :
- A vaio Updgrade option in SS3, not a "re-initialize and format" option.
- A firmware update, so you can play directly .mp3 without "convert" them to .mao
- A firmware update, so you dont have to re-initialize the vaio with SS3.0
- At least a working backup program for the vaio.
And, if possible, a firmware update to add a custom equalizer and/or a alphabetical search engine, so you just have to press a zone to go to the selected letter (26 letters, 25 zones on g-sense, make sense ?)
Sony members, I hope you will listen your users. This petition will be spread around the net, you don't want bad publicity everywhere, do you ?
