Dear Stanford Student Body,
Stanford Student Enterprises (SSE) is contemplating the launch of an educational initiative that will provide student entrepreneurs a chance to develop their startup companies over the summer without having to pay for living expenses (housing, office space, and basic living fees) and will not ask for any equity in return.
Called SSE Labs, the program would provide:
Financial support: Office Space, Housing & Stipend for the entire summer
Legal support: free/very reduced differed fees for 3 months
Mentorship with top Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists, Professors
Speaker Series
Networking Events
Demo Day with Investors
Priority on StartupList: http://venturehacks.com/intro
What we ask from participants:
Zero equity
Full participation in all programs
We believe this program will add tremendous value to the Stanford Community by helping passionate student entrepreneurs reach success. This program not only helps the Stanford community, but also aims to be a source for job creation in a time when unemployment is at an all time high.
SSE would like to get approval of the student body before we fully support this program. Please support this new and innovative program as we seek administrative approval.
