This petition is an appeal to Etisalat, the sole telephone and internet provider of the UAE for the majority.
Please stop blocking the internet for private users, and make it an optional service for any users with young children, or those that are offended by free information.
The proxy (blocking service) not only slows down internet browsing greatly, the lists that it utilizes are innefficient.
Also an appeal to stop blocking VoIP services, i doubt any more needs to be said on this matter.
Perhaps you could enforce the proxy on Public Access Terminals only.
