Cell Phone's are being banned in a lot of schools around the world; my school is about to be one of them. We need cell phones for emergencies and it's not right for them to be taken away. The school rule is to keep them off during class, but even when we do that it's not enough. I made this petition so maybe my school and other schools can cancel this ban, because if the mayor carries out this plan, when we really have a big emergency and need are cells we wont have them and thats a problem. What will we do then? Please sign and help stop cell phone banning in school.

I'm confused. I thought that campus shooting in LA where the first to call 911 was a student on her cellphone proved the benefits of cellphones on school property.
