Please sign up to this petition to require the Ministry of Defence to review the defence cuts and stop the decimation of our RAF.
The decision to scrap many of the RAF's planes and make 30% of trainee pilots redundant is so short-sighted as to be reckless. Not only is it a waste of the money already spent on purchasing planes and training pilots but, in conjunction with the freeze on new recruitment, it will leave a huge hole in the RAF's flying capabilities in future.
This is an insult to those who served to turn the tide of WWII in the Battle of Britain and to those young men and women who are, potentially, prepared to give their lives in defence of this country.
