OPS wants to take over Ralston and Millard.
In several opinions, people don't really want to attend an OPS school. People that live in Millard with their children moved here for a reason; so their kids wouldn't attend OPS.
OPS just wants more tax dollars from the other schools.
OPS does not get anywhere by surprising successful districts by threatening them. Hundreds of families that moved to Millard don't want them to become OPS. Millard and Ralston's academic standards are great, and with OPS taking over, those districts would dramatically lose hundreds of students.

Millard has a great reputation as a school district. I don't want us to be a part of OPS. Millard was meant to stand out, not be in someone else's shadow.
