Aqua New York, Inc. (Aqua) has proposed to build a 158 foot water tower in Wantagh on Demott Avenue adjacent to the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. This tower will have a blinking light on the top of it and will be visible for well over a mile in all directions.
We, the undersigned, oppose the construction of the water tower. It will irreparably destroy the residential character of the Wantagh and Seaford communities. We call upon the Town of Hempstead Board of Appeals to deny Aqua permission to build the water tower.
