Stop the Closure of Strathmore Long-Term Care Beds

The Alberta Government announced the closure of 23 long-term beds in a wing of the Strathmore Hospital in Strathmore Alberta. All of these beds have elderly residents who reside there and will be displaced. Even though there is a plan to open more rooms at a "for profit" centre, Sagewood there are plenty of elder people in the Strathmore area and with our aging society there will be more to come in a short time due to the high number of aging baby boomer generation.
The elders that we should be caring for after their hard work raising families and creating our country we are breaking promises to by not being there for them in the country that they built.
