This petition is stop the playing of any slavery content in school (slaves being brutally whipped and hung), during black history month in school. I do believe that this month should be used to display all the positive things that we as a race have created and or accomplished. I can honestly say that as a youth in school during this time of the year those in school projected films did nothing but promote a sense of low self-esteem. Im asking that you help me in stopping this act. If the school system decides to honor
Black History month, do it so in a positive manner.
