Stop the Nomination of Dr. James Holsinger

We, the fair-minded citizens of The United States of America, hereby wish to declare our strong opposition to the appointment of one Dr. James Holsinger as United States Surgeon General. This position is not to be taken lightly as it pertains to the upkeep of good health and well-being for every citizen of this country. This position requires the ability to discern between what is favorable and unfavorable for the health of the general population. Given Dr. Holsinger's views on Gay Marriage, the undersigned herein, do not see this quality present in Dr. Holsinger and hereby demand that his appointment be terminated immediately upon the reciept of this document. Additionally, we the undersigned, request that this position be recognized for it's influence over the well-being of the population and be given that same respect by the individuals involved in filling it. Gay marriage is not a health problem, nor a problem at all. It is a way of life and a state of existence then countless Americans follow with pride and dignity. The United States of America and it's Democratic philosophy has fallen to bearucratic politicians and hate-filled individuals that proliferate the United States Congress. Likewise, as Democracy has fallen, so too has the freedom supposedly guarunteed to us by the Constitution of the United States of America. Lastly, we the undersigned, with this petition demand that a Surgeon General be appointed who sees the citizens of the United States as a whole not divided.
