Stop the serving of pets as food

It has come to the Glenview Residents for Healthier Tommorow's attention the atrocious eating habits of many individuals in certain parts of this country.

They eat the flesh of dead cows. These poor backwards souls routinely eat the tissues of the holy mothers of all creation. The slaughter of our poor animal companions is even institutionalized and is performed daily on a massive, corporate scale. They stuff processed meat into the intestines and eat them with bread in a dish called the hot dog. They even eat the tounge!

Not only do some people of this country eat cow flesh, but they also eat the insides of pigs! Described by scientists as one of the few animals that actually think through a situation to come up with a solution, these brainiacs in the states are not prized for their companionship or ability to perform tasks, but for their meat!

This attitude does not only apply to cows and pigs, it applies also for chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and lambs. These animals which earn their keep through eggs, feathers, and companionship, are treated as nothing more than something for the dinner table.

And if all this is not horrifying enough, many people eat animals which are classified as "game meat": deer, moose, quail. Rabbits, which these people keep as pets, are also shot and eaten!!!


THIS IS IS A SEVERE OUTRAGE TO US AT GRHT. THESE PEOPLE BUY "FOOD" LIKE THIS IN THE SUPERMARKET ALL THE TIME AND SERVE THEM IN RESTAURANTS!!! IN FACT, ALL MEAT IS ALMOST ALWAYS COWS, PIGS AND CHICKENS!!!!

THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT THE VALUE OF MORE CIVILIZED FOODS!!! WE THE SIGNEES OF THIS PETITION ASK BOTHE THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION TO BAN THE DISGUSTING FOODS AND ALLOW LEGISLATION FOR MORE ENLIGHTENED MEATS!!!

PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING THE PEOPLE THE ALTERNATIVE MEATS SUCH AS:

cat meat

dog meat

gerbil meat

dormouse meat

hamster meat

monkey meat

rat meat

squirrel meat

snake meat

white devil meat
