We, the undersigned, would like to petition the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, along with Virginia Governer Mark Warner, to take measures to include Sunday as a legal hunting day in Virginia. Many of Virginia's sportsmen have full time jobs with long hours that consume most of our week, leaving only our weekends to enjoy our sport of hunting.
We would greatly appreciate if this matter is given serious consideration. We are confident that, upon seeing the overwhelming number of Virginia citizens interested in pursuing this issue, we can accomplish this goal and get Sunday designated as a legal hunting day.
