Due to the recent events of the weekend at the Sydney Mardi Gras, there has been a public outcry of alleged police brutality. The media is partly to blame as usual for the negative feedback on NSW police.
The problem here is everyday citizens who do not respect authority. People who do not listen or obey simple police instructions. There is no homophobic or hate towards the Gay & Lesbian community in Australia. Thats just the media and narrow minded people finding an excuse to start an issue where there is none. Australia is very accepting of the Gay & Lesbian community and has been and continues to be.
