By signing this petition, I support the Greenwich High School AIDS Awareness Clubs endorsement of the Responsible Education About Life (REAL) Act. I understand
1. that the REAL Act is for the creation of the first federally-funded comprehensive sex-education program;
2. that the REAL Acts purpose is to offer students science-based, medically accurate, and age appropriate public health information about both abstinence and also contraception;
3. that contraception greatly reduces pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV);
4. that comprehensive sex-education does not increase promiscuity, does not encourage sex at a younger age, and does not increase the number of sexual partners of an already sexually-active student.
