Support Skye

Since Vanessa Marcil returned to General Hospital as Brenda, Robin Christopher's character, Skye, has lost the love of her life, her sobriety, and her dignity. She slept with a mob boss, Alcazar, lied to cast suspicion on Brenda when he was found murdered, became a hit and run driver, then slept with a blackmailer/stalker in order to cover up the accident. She watched, as her own family threw a party for her new husband's lover......and as her grandfather told her (in front of little miss perfect) that Skye should be more like Brenda.
She had to be hospitalized due to too much alcohol.....and her humiliation is just beginning - scoops tell us that she will show up drunk in the court room and Alexis will rake her over the coals. I would love to send a message loud and clear to tptb at GH......Robin Christopher/Skye fans ARE NOT ENJOYING this!!!!


I have watched General Hospital for so many years, I don't want to even consider a boycott, but I'm nearly there. I had hope a while back, when Coleman began paying attention to Skye (heck, I like him better than Jax anyway!)......only to read a quote by Guza saying that Coleman is still hung up on Courtney and is just using Skye. Of course he is!!!! Every man in Port Charles is either after Courtney or Brenda. It's causing me to hate both of those characters with an unbridled hatred - not what the writers are gunning for, I'm sure.


I have enjoyed the character of Skye on three different soaps now......under Guza and Pratt's pens, she has lost the dignity, fire and passion she had on OLTL and the style and grace she had on AMC. I understand that the character isn't a saint.......her fans don't want her to be. That wouldn't be the Skye we know and love.......however it would be closer to her than this version! I'd just like to ask the writers to begin pulling this fan favorite out of the depths they've banished her to - and the sooner the better. Skye may have lost her passion and fight, but her fans haven't........they are tuning out by the day.......with more to follow unless things don't start looking better for our favorite character....ASAP.
