The swale foyer has been affecting the lives of everybody who lives around it. never does a day go past when a swale foyer resident has not shoplifted from tescos/coop/iceland superdrugs and various other shops in the sheerness area. Also never has a day gone past when the police have not attended or even the ambulance service has not attended. My petition is calling for the closure of the swale foyer. The swale foyer is based in bridge road sheerness kent me12 1rh. It is directly opposite to the mcdonalds and teacos and unluckily directly opposite the university of kents sheerness campus. The foyer falls under the direct management of mrs allyson puxley : http://www.amicushorizon.org.uk/index.cfm?articleid=3053. I am an ex employee and a disgruntled one at that. The security is lousy. The staff mangement is lousy. The community relationship is awful. The drug abuse and use is also awful on and of premises. Attacks involving knives are common. Glassing members of staff and the community is also common. Although the foyer is claiming to be improving it self i have yet to see it. Only 3 weeks ago there was a incident involving stabbing where one resident stabbed another one. The result ? no action. Just warnings. People are accused of rape by specific people and the staff belive the person who claims rape even though that person has been twice warned by the police about false accusations. The swale foyer is a bail hostel/youth hostel etc. If nobody wants someone then the swale foyer will have them. sign this petition and if you like speak your mind about the topic with the management :
