The Trinity River Vision project will use EMINENT DOMAIN for PROFIT for DEVELOPERS by taking acres of personal property. More than $400 million OF OUR TAX DOLLARS will be spent to reroute the Trinity River in a by-pass channel, create a lake and develop mitigation sites based on the FLAWED REASONING AND EXCUSE of flood control.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED ASK ALL OFFICE HOLDERS AND AGENCY HEADS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR TAX DOLLARS AND RESPECT OUR PROPERTY RIGHTS!

Specifically, we seek a FULL ANALYSIS AND COST BENEFIT STUDY COMPLETED of the Principles and Guidelines (P&G) Based Alternative.

We want ALL local, state and federal agencies charged with protecting our environment, water quality and quality of life to STOP THE PROJECT from moving forward until ALL STUDIES are complete and FULL FUNDING is approved. CONDEMNATION SHOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD until all aspects of the project are analyzed and ALL QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED.

We ask the Tarrant County Water District to CEASE ACTIONS that benefit only a few. The District MUST RESPECT property rights and not offer economic development loans to private developers. The catalyst for recreational and commercial development already exists and GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES AND INCENTIVES and are not needed.
