This petition is for Lonnie Ray O'Neal who is seeking clemency from TX. He is currently incarcerated in the state of AR., but goes up for parole on Oct. 31 there. His TX. time is running concurrently with his AR. time. He is hoping that TX. will grant him clemency for the few mos. that he will have left at the end of his AR. time.
He has been a Class I inmate 99% of his time in AR.; has completed some college courses, worked in the Chaplain's office, plays in the prison band & is a "Christian" now.
Please sign this petition to help us bring Lonnie home, as early as possible. He needs to be home with his Mom & family, as his mom is in ill health now & almost unable to even visit him, because of health problems, the long trip, gas expenses & motel costs.

I feel that this young man has been punished more than enough for the crime he committed. He was a first time offender & up until this moment was a fine young man with a great future!!! He is very intelligent & will be a terrific asset to his hometown,
