On the 26th April 2006, an incident involving Hayden Mullins of West Ham United and Luis Garcia of Liverpool in the latter stages of the match between the two sides resulted in both players being dismissed for violent conduct. With the mandatory 3 match ban in place for a straight red card this means that both players will now miss out on one of the greatest games of their careers, the FA cup final, which is of course between Liverpool and West Ham. With both clubs losing key influential players for the occassion, it is time for the FA to step in and use common sense. Given the occassion, referee Howard Webb was somewhat harsh to be throwing out red when a yellow would have sufficed. So, I am appealing for you to help free Hayden Mullins and Luis Garcia for the FA cup final on May the 13th, to make it the grand and fair occassion that tradition is based upon.

While i accept that both players have comitted an offence, I think this is an opportunity for the FA to show some common sense and realise that there is nothing to gain by banning these two players for the FA Cup Final. Let them serve the first two matche

The FA say they are trying to cut down on diving in the English game they have an easy opportunity to prove their commitment to this by rescinding Mullins ban and they reject it, this seems to be hypocracy by the FA whilst ruling out one of West Ham's mos

Although both players were involved in a scuffle a caution would have been sufficient. Hayden Mullins has an excellent disipline record which should be taken into account and Luis Garcia should learn that a knock in the back is no where near his face!!
