The Hand Scanning Scandel

It has been brought to my attention that the time clock system being used at Emerald Coal Mine RAG is a bit unneccesary. Being penalized for forgetting to scan your hand is really unprofessional. After working a long 8-10 hour shift, sometimes it slips your mind and you just forget to scan your hand. If its video taped and they have the time to watch it to see if you do it or not then I dont think its really necessary to suspend the employees. Just simply ask the employee what time they left that day and if you want to double check it then watch the video. If its a surveillance tape then it will show what time they walk by. RAG needs to worry about running a better business and worry about the other employees who are not doing their jobs rather than worrying about the good employees who simply forget to punch out at the end of a hard working day.
