In 2009, Conan O'Brien will be leaving his popular "Late Night" program to take over for the departing Jay Leno as host of "The Tonight Show." O'Brien's successor has yet to be named; clearly, NBC is unsure of who could possibly follow in the red-headed funnyman's large and very funny footsteps.
We, the undersigned, demand that NBC appoint James Greene, Jr. as the new host of "Late Night." Greene is funny, marginally good-looking, and at ease in the company of celebrities. Plus, he's only 26, so you don't have to worry about him dropping dead like Abe Vigoda.
We are confident that you, the executives at NBC, will make the right decision. Thank you for your time.
