Dear The Matrix Online developers,
We, The Undersigned, believe "The Matrix Online" is an MMORPG unlike any other. It is in a class of its own; from how it tells an ongoing story to the unique game mechanics. The Matrix series is one that is enjoyed by a wide variety of people, and we believe that such a unique experience as playing The Matrix Online should not be restricted to only those fans who are using a computer running the Microsoft Windows platform.
Mac OS X is a platform that is emerging in the computer market. Known for its stabilty, support for open-standards, and excellence in graphics, video, and audio, we believe that Mac OS X will continue to gain market share in the coming years.
One field in which Mac OS X, and many other operating systems besides Windows for that matter, is support for a wide library of games, mainly due to the Microsoft Windows-specific DirectX graphics API. There is a very real demand for more games on the Mac OS X platform, and other popular and highly successful MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft are available for Mac OS X. These games use the industry-standard open-source OpenGL API, which is supported on essentially every modern operating system
Therefore, we request that the developers of The Matrix Online, now or in the near future, develop a Mac OS X version of the game using the OpenGL graphics API, so that the millions of Mac-using Matrix fans can be a part of the epic story that is The Matrix.
