In 1996 GM discontinued the Caprice/Impala SS, only to come back in 2000 and build it with a better, more efficient and more powerfull drivetrain.
The new caprice is not being offered in the US, the main focus for GM and the new Caprice is the Middle East.
We're starting this petition for all the GM B-body and caprice/Impala SS enthusiasts, so that "maybe" GM will get the message and bring back one of the best American 4 door V-8's that ever rolled off their assembly line.
Bring the caprice back home.

Why can't GM make cars to a "World standard" so they can be sold anywhere in the world without worring about meeting each individual countries standards. Make one world-wide standard, and you can sell any car anywhere!! Like selling the foriegn Caprice in

It would great to see GM bring both of there hot selling V8 rwd cars to the US. It will help them out because not everyone wants a wimpy V6 fwd all the time .
